Yesterday I was pondering about the nature of Time. In our world we measure time. We seem set on doing so and, aside from man-made practical reasons, I wonder why we live by the clock?
What would happen if we stopped measuring time? What would happen if we simply lived through each day without counting the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months. There would be light, dark and seasonal changes in the weather, but those things would simply be experienced without measure. We'd never be late or early and we'd never watch the clock. We could travel around the world to different countries, without crossing time zones. We'd travel when we decided to do so...our decision to take the steps to travel from one place to another would effectively result in us travelling. In basic terms, we'd decide to travel, and would consequently do so.
You wouldn't actually know whether you were travelling backward or forward in time as no measure would be taken from which such a judgement might be made. You'd simply travel somewhere and experience a different set of circumstances upon your arrival. Isn't this a bit like how the spirit world works?
